Kia Ora! It’s such a privilege to be the “official storyteller and knot tie-er” for two people in love… keeping them calm, making them laugh, slipping them tissues before the tears fall, evoking the right emotions and setting the perfect tone for the rest of the wedding celebration.  

Over the past eleven years, I have married over 300 wonderful couples.  I love what I do, and it shows. My style is contemporary, connected, friendly and genuine. 

I have a particular affinity to couples with children, or those who are “second time around”; couples for whom cultural values and traditions are important, and those who seek a polished, sincere, modern ceremony delivered with a splash of humour.  

Choosing your celebrant is a very personal decision.  I understand that every couple sees their ceremony differently, so I offer a range of options to suit every style, budget, and venue.  From meaningful simplicity, to heartfelt intimate elopements, or detailed personal authenticity, you can choose the right ceremony for you too!

Your Love Story – a bespoke, personal and original ceremony blooming with your favourite memories and anecdotes, weaving in your words and humour. Family or friends, and any cultural or spiritual elements that have particular resonance or significance, will be elegantly included to make this ceremony beautiful and memorable. Designed collaboratively over time, this ceremony is richly meaningful, and uniquely yours. From $700.  Rehearsal and travel fees may apply for particular venue locations. Love Note Ceremonies are perfect for the busy just-want-to-get-marrieds, shy romantics, or budget conscious. I create a simple and minimally personalised script, including your choice of vows from three examples I suggest. These ceremonies are brief, warm and intimate. You will be married at your chosen venue in Central Auckland, with a maximum of 30 guests.  We’ll confirm your requirements by email and/or Zoom, and no rehearsal will be held.  From $495 (additional costs apply in the “high season”, for or venues further afield).

Registry ceremonies are taken by approved marriage celebrants in their local community. They are short (10 minutes max!), held on weekdays only, (but not public holidays) and use a Government-approved fixed script.  The fee paid to the celebrant is $90.  I conduct Registry marriage ceremonies in and around Mt Eden, and can suggest a range of popular free or low-cost venues.  For additional information, my availability, and to apply for your Marriage Licence, see “Love Now“, or follow #RegWedNZ on Instagram.
